Plastic injection moulding is cost-effective way to produce identical plastic components in great details and at any volume. Plastic resins are injected at pressure into a two-part or more mould, which is kept sealed together through a force approx. 3 to 5 times the injection pressure.

Once the plastic cools, the mould us opened and the finished component is removed, making way for the next injection. All this injection process is fully automated, and computer controlled for precise, consistently high-quality parts produced at speed and volume.

Injection plastics come in two main formats:

  • Thermoplastics are ideal for making high strength, bendable and shrink-resistant items. These plastics do not cure so they can be remelted and recycled easily.
  • Thermoset plastics cure to a hard and rigid form, providing your finished items with structural integrity, and high heat and chemical resistance.
