Cold Box Core Making Process Upgraded
Today we at Alcast have committed to upgrading our Cold Box Core Making Process with the purchase of a new Loramendi Lüber Methyl Formate gas generator. This upgrade will improve cycle times which will reduce costs, increase capacity, and improve our ability to remove cores after casting.

Alloy Furnace Capacity increased to 11,000 lbs
In an effort to expand capacity and maintain our policy of alloy dedicated furnaces, Alcast Technologies has purchased another 2000lb Thermtronix gas powered crucible furnace. This 8th furnace brings Alcast’s total holding capacity up to 11 000lbs with an hourly melt rate of approximately 6000lbs.
